The KEWASIP NPCU team, in collaboration with officers from KFS, is currently assessing KFS tree nurseries in Garissa County. The exercise aims to evaluate the current status and operational capacity of the nurseries to determine their refurbishment and expansion needs.

The assessment will provide critical information to guide interventions aimed at strengthening nursery infrastructure and enhancing seedling production to support landscape restoration and afforestation efforts.
