COMMUNITY GRANTS SUPPORT

The project will provide financial and technical support to promote participatory identification, preparation and implementation of micro-watershed restoration and livelihood sub-projects at the grassroots level.

TYPES OF GRANTS

Community Grants Support for:

  1. Common Interest Groups (CIGs)

    i.e. Community Forest Associations (CFAs), Water Resource Users Associations (WRUAs), CBOs, Self help groups, Farmers groups.

  2. Minority and Marginalized Groups (MMGs)/Vulnerable and Marginalized Communities (VMG) Groups

GRANT SUPPORT CATEGORIES

KEWASIP will support community-led subprojects within two categories:

  1. Hydroshed Plan and Micro-watershed Action Plan Implementation Grant
  2. Livelihood Restoration Grant
